About the role

Traction Ag is seeking an experienced Machinery Salesperson to join our growing team in Naracoorte, SA. This full-time position will play a crucial role in driving sales of our industry-leading agricultural machinery and equipment to farmers and businesses across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Actively prospecting for new sales opportunities and managing the sales pipeline
• Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on the right machinery and equipment for their needs
• Negotiating sales contracts and closing deals
• Collaborating with the wider sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service
• Attending trade shows, field days and other industry events to promote our products
• Analysing sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in machinery or agricultural equipment sales, with a minimum of 2 years experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• In-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, including their features, benefits and applications
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• A passion for the agricultural industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
